Urogynecology is now an officially board certified subspecialty as recognized by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Urology. After 25 years of research, experience and qualification, Dr. Swor achieved Board Certification for this new subspecialty in 2014.
Our urogynecology service is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. We perform urodynamic testing, comprehensive evaluation and non-surgical treatments of pelvic prolapse disorders, urinary leakage include pelvic floor muscle training, biofeedback, e-STIM electronic pelvic floor therapy and Distal Tibial Nerve Stimulation (Urgent PC). When surgical therapy is appropriate, we utilize the most advanced surgical methods that include both robotic and the least invasive vaginal surgery techniques.
