About Sciarrino

Gretchen is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) whose practice is dedicated to gentle, compassionate care of women throughout their life span. She brings more than 15 years of energetic, thorough and non-judgmental nurse practitioner experience to our practice. Ms. Sciarrino received her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Buffalo in 2000, where she also received her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner. She is certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation (NCC), and is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), American Society of Colposcopic and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She serves as Secretary for the Sarasota County Nurse Practitioner Association and is a member of Manatee Area Council for Advanced Nursing Practice. Her continued professional dedication to women’s health led Gretchen to develop advanced clinical skills in various areas including: colposcopy, biopsies, various contraceptive insertions and removals, pessary management, and treatment of gynecologic conditions, including PCOS and menopause management. Today, Gretchen remains a strong advocate for women, and brings her clinical knowledge, skills and expertise to our practice. She understands that each woman is unique and has different gynecologic needs. To that end, Gretchen’s approach to women’s health fits well within our practice.
