Allison was born and raised in Canada, graduating with a BSN from Ryerson University in 1992.  She moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, in September of that year and went to work at Bayfront Medical Center.  She then graduated from the University of South Florida in August of 2001 with a Masters Degree in nursing.  Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner was achieved in December 2001.  She then continued to work in the Emergency/Trauma Department at Bayfront Medical Center and recently changed to working in the Emergency Room at Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.  Allison has been married to her husband, Tony, who is a Physician Assistant in Bradenton, since 1995.  They relocated to Eastern Manatee County in September of 2000.
